Free Electronics Recycling Event at 3R Technology - September 10th
Due to popular demand, we're having another electronics recycling drive at our facility on September 10th! We'll be accepting the following items for no charge* on that day from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM:
- CRT and LCD Monitors
- TVs - CRT, LCD, and plasma
- Computers & Servers
- Laptops
- All Printers, Fax Machines, and Scanners
- Audiovisual Equipment (DVD players / VHS / Stereos)
- Media such as VHS, Cassette, DVDs, and CDs
- Keyboards and Mice
- Small parts, peripherals, cables, etc.
Skip school and come bring down your unwanted electronics!

E-Waste And Corporate Security

Why Reuse is Better than Recycling
A report by UK non-profit Computer Aid International provides interesting research results to further the argument that refurbishing and repurposing technology is a much better alternative than simply putting it through a shredder. Some important points include noting that energy consumption is reduced by delaying recycling of equipment (it takes significant energy to recycle), and not purchasing new equipment.
