Pickup Preparation Guidelines

  • Please store materials in a dry environment. Materials exposed to the elements not only pose an environmental risk, but may also negate any possible donation or reuse opportunity for the equipment.

  • Palletizing equipment is helpful for large pickups, but not necessary for small pickups.

  • It's preferable to stack monitors on their sides rather than face down - unless cardboard layering is used. This prevents potential damage to the screen or tube that may render the monitor useless or pose a potential hazard.

  • Any information on working / non-working status for equipment is appreciated. It makes our processing more efficient and may also reduce your recycling costs.

  • Boxing of smaller parts, cables and peripherals is appreciated. If you have a signifcant amount of loose materials, please let us know and we can bring adequate bins to transport the materials safely.

  • Pre-sorting equipment is helpful, but not necessary. However, it will generally make the process of assessing fees or creating estimates more expedient if we have clear access to the equipment.

  • All hard drives or units with hard drives accepted by us are either binary wiped or destroyed. Please let us know if you have any special concerns or directions for data sensitive materials either before or at the time of a pickup.

  • Please let us know of any special access issues for us to be aware of - such as loading time restrictions, presence of stairs, locations of elevators, etc.
